  • Spring 2006.

Education:

  • 2006-2008 B.S. The University of Texas at El Paso major in Biology and minor in Chemistry.

Research Interests:

  • Climate change biology, carbon-flux, plant ecology and physiology.

Favorite Technologies:

  • Any instrument with a whole lot of wires arranged in disarray!!!

Favorite Field Site:

  • Antarctica!!!!

Hobbies:

  • The Great Outdoors and anything it has to offer. Helping my 5-year old son identify our native flora! (I know it's a bit much but you'll be surprised).

Ambitions:

  • Motivate and mold young K-12 students become better leaders tomorrow by bringing environmental crisis and research to their classrooms.

Personal Statement:

  • I developed a passion for systems ecology research and plan on pursuing graduate school under this field. I'm a proud father of a wonderful boy named Evan that fuels my desire for learning, living, giving, and having fun doing them! The team here at Systems Ecology Lab is awesome and I feel very fortunate to be a part of it!
