I was born and raised here in El Paso, TX and have always loved living here in the Chihuahuan Desert. I have hopes of working in the academia and being able to travel the world. Right now, I am working really hard to finish my dissertation, but I am also working hard at being the best mother in the world. I have three beautiful children that I adore and for whom I work to make a better life. I enjoy my work very much and love coming to UTEP everyday. I could not have asked for anything better than to be working in the SEL with such wonderful people.
