Research
Since 2005, we have conducted research throughout the Chihuahuan Desert, northern and western Alaska, eastern Russia, the Canadian high arctic, Greenland, and Scandinavia. We have active local, regional, national and international collaborations that include foci on both field based projects and lab based cyberinfrastructure projects.
We are also developing some novel technology and cyberinfrastructure to improve our capacity for monitoring and assessing environmental change. All of our research has a strong educational component and we regularly conduct outreach to schools and community groups.
